Neck Size

With a tape measure, gently encircle your dogs neck where the collar would sit. 

Allow 2 finger space between the tape & the dogs neck to ensure a comfortable fit

 

Chest Size

Use the tape measure to gently encircle your dogs chest at it’s widest point, normally just behind the front legs.

Allow 2 finger space between the tape & the dogs girth to ensure a snug.

 

Length

Measure the distance from your dogs neck where the collar sits to where the tail starts.

Dog Shoes & Socks

Measure your dog's paws to ensure a comfortable fit.

1. Place the paw on a piece of paper and press down on the top, mimicking how the paw spreads when the dog's walking.
2. Mark the left and the right side on the paper and measure the distance between the marks.
3. Mark the Front & Back of the Paw on the paper and measure the distance between the marks.

Compare this to the Sock Width & Length in the product description.

Every dog is different in size and shape, so please make sure that you measure and double check the sizing of your fur-baby before making a size selection.

Please also note, Big & Little Dogs may be different to other brands that are on the market. Ensure that you double check the sizing of each harness.

We would recommend not assuming that you will be the same size as another brand.

Also note that each Harness Type does have a different sizing, so please ensure to check the size chart prior to purchasing, as your pup may be in a different size in each type of harness.

1. Measure around the widest part of the base of the neck (the area where the collar would naturally sit)

2. Measure around the widest part of your dog's ribcage, just behind their front legs

3. Which products you would like sizing suggestions for

 

Here are a couple of tips for sizing:

• For neck and chest, please allow sufficient room to slip two fingers between the measuring tape and the dog’s neck or chest. A snug fit is what you are aiming for - just make sure it is not too tight or chokes your pet.
• Order the next size up if your dog falls between measurements.
